some ferns are fiddleheads. i guess this one isn’t. either that or fiddles have gotten a lot weirder lately.

i just rolled over and took a photo of the tree that shaded me. wasn’t till i got it home that i saw the bug at all. can you say, retroactive heebie-jeebies?
leaf shine-through
from the bamboo, towards the pond that looked so good in person but not so much in photos. But this came out well, I think. I take full credit for the plant, too.

there’s a long narrow avenue of bamboo - inside it, it feels almost infinite, except, really, not really. But it is cool and makes vandals look good.
