Mel Gibson and his ilk could definitely stand to be more intense.  The Passion of the Christ was just a little too family friendly for my tastes.

"intensification” is a bit scary, innit? that could mean they’re getting (a) a bigger organ, (b) louder choirpersons, (c) thumbscrews for the confessional. i’ll pray for you. quietly. in my room.

Good heavens....Perhaps you will have to propose a neighborhood mellowfication proposal to counter the said “intensifying” Christians.  It’s historically pretty scary when the Christians start to intensify.
