FYI, that piece of equipment is used for road construction. It’s called a “sheepsfoot roller” and it’s used for compacting the dirt before the roadway is put down. I find it incredibly ironic that you saw it abandoned next to a road (if you can really call it that) that just disappeared. somebody didn’t get too involved in their road construction, huh?
