I love your description of the Queen’s Bath. I was just reading about it on my return flight from Chicago on Monday and the Wizard Pub book doesn’t do nearly as well as you. I think you should send them a link to your Tropical Tidbits (TM).

Keep the Tidbits (TM) and pictures flowing. I don’t care if everyone else is bored with them, you are keeping me sane until my trip this winter!

your trip is sounding more and more awesome, and you know i love seeing your pix.

and, i’m totally jealous that you got to drive a sebring.  i love those cars!  how was it???

those wizard people do just fine, I tend to think that most people are tired of hearing from me before they’ve even heard of me.  But I’ll consider the suggestion, Lori, and thanks....

And Evi, the Sebring is a very comfortable vehicle, adequately powered, decently appointed.  As far as handling and pure “driving zest,” it’s a bit of a snooze - like a great big bathtub with wheels, comfortable but not really fast, reliable but not really great handling.  Wide turning radius.  Try to get one without the roaches.

I have to admit that I’ve fallen completely in love with my Wizard Pub book… even for the maps alone. I just think that your description is much more *complete*. I was having a hard time imagining the lava-tube aspect of it from reading the book, but after reading this Tidbit(TM), I feel like I’ve been there.

And evi, dan’s description of the Sebring is dead-on. We had one on our honeymoon in Key West and it was nice but not thrilling. Of course, I was comparing it to my old Miata. Not the same thing at all. And our was without roaches. eewww!

Oh. MYGAWD. I’d have died. The mule almost makes up for it, though.

i had a rental car a few years back that was infested with ants.  i pulled up the floor mats to find a thick, wide line of them, marching from the front of the car to the back.  crazy bugs.  i returned that car too.

and keep the pictures coming!  it’s the next best thing to being there.
