Speaking of the ‘old dog’, how’s he doing?

cosmo has come back very well, thank you all very much!  he doesn’t much care for the chilly weather but his leg barely seems to bother him.  He walks very slowly and is more opinionated and occasionally barks out the window for no good reason, but he’s a 13-year-old mastiff so he’s entitled to be as crotchety as he likes.  Meantime he is very playful, very loving, and was phenomenal with four little kids hanging off him on thanksgiving.  We use a sling to help him get up and down our front steps, and we lift him into and out of the car, but those are the only residual side effects from his infected knee.  He’s a very very good dog.  And thank you again for asking.

Careful there, if you wrap up in duct tape, when you pull it off, you’ll also be pulling off the hair that’s keeping you somewhat warm.
