I feel you pain, man. I have a similar situation at work, and it’s driven me to madness!

Cool ditty!!!

Oh YAY!  I’m SO glad this thorn in your side is GONE!  How does that song go?  “ding dong the witch dead, the witch is dead, the witch is dead, ding dong the wicked witch is dead”.

Good way to end the week.

darn.  and i had my chance to trip her last week as she past us on the sidewalk too.  now i’ll never get another chance… :) i know she’d been a pain in the arse for you for a long time now.  time to go home and celebrate with a cold pint or two!

i could never get into the Apprentice.  it was like you said, too much like work.  now Amazing Race, that’s a whole different story.  “VICTORIA!!  HURRY UP VICTORIA!!” *shudder* that bastard has got to go…

Thank you all, for your support and directed vituperation.  And Pete, yeah, that guy is such a bastard!  I cannot BELIEVE that he HIT her.  Chuck seemed disturbed too.  I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some come-uppance - or if they changed the rules next time to penalize acts of violence against other players.  Victoria has her problems but Jonathan is such a bastard.  Geesh.

as long as it’s not MY office you pawned her off on, then i am utterly delighted for you

i refused to watch The Apprentice though, so you’ll have to continue sharing the things youve gleaned.

Yay! She’s finally gone!

i have not watched it.
it seems to me to be spreading the mentality that one has to be ruthless and conniving to get ahead, and it teaches more people how to do that. I guess i should watch it to be prepared for everyone else.

Yes, you were completely right in not making a scene about this colleague. I, too, have learned in past work life situations to keep my trap shut. What I have found is that ‘What goes around, comes around’...and if it doesn’t come around this time, it may the next. Heck, I might not even see it come around, but I feel better knowing that I have made the effort to be a better person by not complaining or being righteous. The flip side is that I am probably pissing people off too, but I hope they’re not complaining to everyone about ME!

And here’s another perspective—at least you only had to deal with her for a year and a half!
