glad i waited until hours after lunch to finish reading it ...
this story was so (pardon the adjective) visceral, especially the first descriptive part.  i got a little lost in the explanations afterward, but i think that’s because i wanted the images back.  and when you wrote them - the gouged flesh of hermano’s belly - i was gripped by the story all over again.
bon appétit!  (or “bone appétit” if you find you’ve run out of gut flesh ...)

For some reason, I don’t know why. This reminds me of Stephen King’s ‘Thinner’. Good story and it needs to be continued, you need to find a cure for the man.
