wait a minute - let me get this straight - we ARE NOT getting the 11-year-old Shazam-Dan pic? Are you REALLY that much of a tease?

You mean Hebrew is a language? I thought it was what you called a guy who makes his own beer..

Bada dum

Thank you, thank you, I’ll be here all week…

as long as the owner doesn’t catch me.

I’m with Jules, I want to see the Shazam pic. Not nice to mess with us blog readers like that, dan! :)

I checked it again this morning - and of course, as is my wont, I got the jist right but the details wrong: the photo is of me at my sister’s party, with her little friends, not mine.  No matter, the shirt remains the same (from the song of the same name).  I was thinking I didn’t have a scanner so I couldn’t show you the snapshot, but I remembered not long ago that I can take a digital photo of it and share my shame.  You’ll see it tomorrow, and until then, let your imaginations run wild…

Oh man...now THAT was a very accurate 8th-9th grade conversation.  You were SO much nicer than I would have been...I was EVIL by that time.  But then often those sort of interactions are different for guys than for girls.  Well done.

It is a complete wonder to me that any of us survived junior high.

Oh and my imagination is totally running amuck (or is that amok? I’m never sure). Can’t wait to see the photo!

While I anxiously await for your Shazaam pic with the rest of the posse, I’m wondering if cumulonimbus is really a word that you use regularly or did you Thesaurus that?  You must’ve kicked ass on your SATs.

i love trying to explain to people that other languages don’t necessarily DO things the same way english does.  things like syntax and verb use and punctuation and alphabets.  the mind boggles.

This brings me to the first point I want to make about what this book is not. I am not advocating a morality based on evolution. I am saying how things have evolved. I am not saying how we humans morally ought to behave. by texas hold em
