Oh that was lovely. I so enjoyed my esthertashen last year...perhaps I will make some of my own this year. The photos are very helpful for those of us who don’t bake very much.

evi included this recipe in a collective cookbook several of our friends created. The recipe sounded yummy enough to tempt me, but I was confused by the folding directions. The visual aids in this post are enough to convince me to give it a try myself. Thanks again, dan! :)

Ooooo...... nice..... Now my memories jogged....... These are what I used to bring back (for gift giving) whenever I am in NYC and go shopping at ZABAR’S!!

man, i’m such a bad girl. the cooking/baking thing so doesn’t appeal to me. hmm, i guess that was a pretty sexist comment to make so i should just stop now before i get into further trouble.
i’m sure they’re delicious though. after all, they were made by you! how could they not be. there, did that make the first part of my comment any better? no? oh well. ttfn!! ♥

mmm… what beautiful little jewels of fruity goodness! (adding cointreau might be interesting… or not.)
But, um, is it okay if I’m feeling too lazy to make them? Maybe I’ll just print out the pictures and scotch tape them to my tummy or something. Meantime, I’ll file this splendid recipe away for when I’m feeling a bit more rambunctious… thanks dude!

Those look damn good, dude! I’m trying to book a flight out so I can have one!

Those sound and look great.
Do you know how to get drool out of a laptop keyboard?

ooooohhhhhh i may have to try my hand at those. beautiful photos dan. and thanks for the recipe. :)

I think Evi and I are going to try a
cherry bourbon filling this year...mmmmm!
