I was very moved by this as I am in a lot of the things you write. You have, as I’ve said before, an uncanny ability to call it. The only thing, that made me ponder, was the comment that hate is hate is hate. There seems so much more to this. There is hate so blinding that I don’t understand the motivation behind the actions that the hate brings forth from a person. There is hate that is mild and an irritation, but still leaves the soul with an arid burning. Timothy McVeigh sold t-shirts at Waco, yet, what happened at Waco fueled his hatred. Hatred that ran so deep, he was willing to sacrifice all those souls to try and soothe it. I think hatred is very complex and an individual thing. Whether or not you, yourself have the capacity to control it or to let it calm is perhaps the result of the amount of love you have within you.
It never ceases to amaze me how people will come through for others in times of need—or even a “happy” need, like yours.
Fingers crossed and breath held hoping all goes better than planned, but please hurry back...I’m turning blue! Best wishes for a wonderful trip, a joyous meeting and a safe return home!
