Ya know, I never really think about it but I have a preffered route that I take and tend to go into auto pilot myself. The big difference for me is that my trail is all rural. Surrounded by cornfields and wildflowers. The worst part is during the fall when we get a new hazard added to the roads. Thats when all the deer start wandering around. They tend to pop out at the most unexpected times.

One aspect I love about my drive to work is observing the same people year after year (yet they don’t know I ‘know’ them, which is kind of freaky). Over the past 10 years of my commute, I’ve seen little kids who used to wait for the schoolbus with their mom at their side grow up into teenagers. And I love watching how a home and yard or farm evolves over the years. That’s part of what makes my long drive interesting; there’s always something changing.

Cool! I’m gonna print this entry so’s next time I’m in the Bayular Area I’ll have clear, efficient directions to your house! What… you mean you *don’t* want blogstalkers arriving on your stoop at three in the morning with a spongecake and a six-pack? Well dang.
