Loved reading Kelly’s physical and mental response to eating oysters. I’ve tried them once, but didn’t care for the experience. Which strikes me as unfortunate. Such a sensual food to eat. Ah well; there’s always chocolate.
I am pleased to read this because I was going to take a trip to New Orleans for the first time this year, and I have been worried that I would never be able to--at least, not really. But perhaps I still can. Also, in your zeal to say “And this one’s for the lady,” make sure you do, in fact, say it to a lady. That’s the main rule.
Dan, you never fail to amaze me both with your powers of observation and your ability to capture the moment with your pen. My life is so much paler in comparison - and so much richer for the sharing!

i have a ghost photo somewhere, too. it was right after graduation for my masters degree, and downright eerie. seeing it still gives me a small curious case of chills. it’s not all ethereal and light-infused like yours, though. just some old man you can read through.

also, I have to admit (because I am amongst friends here, right?) that NO scares me a bit just BECAUSE of the ghosts. I have this whole thing about it… it’s an old soul psychic curse dealie that bugs me out. The main thing is… i don’t even know. I guess I should post on my OWN blog about it and not waste your comment space.
