I salute you Dan. Most would have crossed the street and just ignored the situation. I feel for the skinny guy. I’ve been beaten like that before and know how horrible it can be.

Good for you. Actions such as you took can take on directions which we cannot anticipate...but you went with your gut, and I’m sure you could have done no other than that. Strength of character, is what that is.

Normally, I would never question your choice of words ... but in this case you should have said “a well deserved beer”.  Well done.
