Dan, you have made my day! Now I have photographic evidence that I CAN cook… or bake. Next time I’ll remember to put make-up on before attempting to do any housework… never know when you’ll be lurking with your camera. Miss you guys already! Cheers!

i think this qualifies as Food P0rn… it’s only 8:20 in the morning and you’ve gone and made me hungry for meat pockets. darn you!

wow. we make empanadas as a holiday tradition also and they’re totally different. they’re deep fried and stuffed with a mincemeat, dried fruit and brandy mixture. sweet not savory. I’m thinking I could have your kind for dinner, and mine for dessert.

Mmmm - they look great! And I’m with Theresa, if I can come I’ll bring the wine!
And P...Food Porn ... hahahah!

Yes! There’s nothing quite like a traditional meatbomb (I love a grenade) to round out a family gathering.

Try your next “empanadas” with some olives and brunette raisins in the filling (1 or 2 olives and 6 raisins per empanada), also with some red pepper as spice.
The filling can vary, chicken meat, sea food and cheese, sweet filling(apple and cinnamon etc).
