I have the exact same experience with onion rings...every time.  Which is why it’s always a stretch of time in between onion ring adventures.  I have to sort of forget...and then I get to relive it all over again.  Hey, it’s not ‘cause I’m dumb, I just don’t learn things I don’t wanna learn.

I haven’t watched the 2nd half of the last season of Sopranos yet (so no spoilers!) but I did hear that the restaurant where they shot that sold like a bajillion onion rings the next day. ha ha ha.

And come to think of it, I don’t think I have ever had a really GOOD onion ring. An awesome blossom, once, but no rings.
