seeing all the cool photos makes me wish i could tag along during one of your jaunts. i don’t use my camera nearly enough and the quality of my photos shows it.

i think the barbies shot is my favorite.

Firstly, those Erik Van Danniken robot dudes are painted all over LA too. I just saw one the other night and it was painted onto the asphalt with the same paint that they use for the lane lines. So it’ll be there for a good long while. Until they decide to rise up and take over. *shudder*

Secondly, if I would have used my brain and processed the fact that you were going to Philly, I would have inquired about some cake. My boss’s family used to live in Philly and they know of this tiny, family owned bakery that makes the BEST angel food cake in the world. Because the business is so small (mom makes ‘em, pops sells ‘em) they won’t ship them or take custom orders or anything, so whenever someone goes anywhere near Pennsylvania, my boss will pay them to go and buy as many cakes as they can. Last time she carried twenty cakes on the plane home with her. I haven’t ever tried the cake myself, but everyone else has and says it’s worth the trip. She is also willing to pay a finder’s fee plus extra if someone would be willing to get her one of those cakes and send it out. I totally could have USED YOU for my own personal gain. DANG!

Those are some excellent photos - since I didn’t even venture outside of the hotel except to get in a cab, I missed all of the local color.  I’m still okay with that, though.

I know that we spoke because everyone I spoke to, that I didn’t already know, I entered into my Blackberry so I could check them out later.  I remember you saying “dot org.  I’m an org sort of guy.” Why I remember that, I don’t know.  I don’t remember a lot of the night except everyone that I met that I didn’t already know were totally awesome!

I believe that you have a picture of Hilly and I doing a shot together up there. ;)

Oh, I meant to say that your photo montage of Philly is far more interesting than any I have seen.  Well done, man!

It was a pleasure to talk to you again!  We’ll have to do more of that in the future—I was stretched pretty thin that night and didn’t get as much time with individuals as I would have liked.
