i don’t know which side you were on here, but i think i’ve been the one grieving over wasted polenta (or polentesque unidentified foodstuff). no matter what, it DOES seem a shame.
and really how important is a clean kitchen anyway ...

evi thanks for spilling my beans - and for the record it’s been a good long time since I’ve worn a found object. I’ve taken both sides in this conversation over my life, sometimes in the same conversation. But yeah, I can pretty much guarantee that the subject is something associated with food.

HAHA. Saw a Discovery special on packrats once. Scary stuff. This lady wouldn’t get rid of this filthy old broom even though she had three more in her closet. She kept saying, “Well what if all the others ones break?”

I’ve had a broom since 1986 that I wish would break. I can’t break it. And I can’t break *with* it. Life is so unfair. But on the plus side, I actually need two brooms. At least. My cat, she is a filthy animal…
