i was literally 5 feet from a deer when i was in LA, and i was struck by how cool they are when they run. i mean, they just sort of start to lean and then WHOOSH! they’re off.
it’s a sign of how dastardly evolution can be when something that moves that fast ALSO grows sharp, pointy sticks out of its head.
