My Uncle was the best, he was only five years older than me and he had some cool friends. ‘sigh’. I only get to see my nephews once a year.

Nice uncling. I hope to uncle some day. I can only hope to uncle at your level.

Look what you’ve done; now everyone’s going to be using “uncle” as a verb.

My finest uncling experience was hosing a kid down after we pulled him and his poopy diaper out of the swimming pool. We even hosed the poop off from the tile and into the bushes. It was naked time the rest of the afternoon.
Next level, ha! Distance can only do so much. Simonizing is way farther.

Congratulations on the newest arrival! I think you take the cake in the uncleing (you’ve made it a verb, therefore I can -ing it) category, but then again, I’m biased.

Well done, well done! Congrats on the new family member and on the new verb!

yes, nice on both counts - niece and neologism. :)
i wish i could be an uncle. somehow “aunting” just doesn’t have the same ring ...

My eldest nephew is three days older than me. I try to give him advice “Maybe thish beer ish a bad idea” but he rarely takes it. Tough job, auntying.
