After ten months of negotiations,

After ten months of negotiations, mediations, frustrations and random other ‘ations I can’t get into now, I get this email:

“Both the GENERAL and ATTORNEY units have voted to ratify the 2003 contract.  Thanks for participating. We will open nominations for the 2004 Contract Bargaining Team next week.”

This means my participation on the bargaining team and with the contract negotiation process has come to a successful conclusion, with no actual strikes taken and a few decent meals thrown in for good measure.  Next week it starts all over again.
