it doesn’t take a whiz
well dammit I’ve learned one lesson and failed another. I was so aggravated with myself for having blown the ISO settings when I took photos at the bus terminal that I went back and did it right this time, and I actually rather like the results. I was even able to load the damn things to my photo blog. BUT. I can’t make the stupid things show up there! If you go to the page and check “recent entries” on the left, the first nine are from the Transbay Reshoot Project. I’ll figure out how to make them show up on the main page eventually. In the meantime, I’ve got to get my head together and take it to a dark quiet place. I’ve had enough of this for now.
that's just the way it seemed to me at 12:00 AM

Are you getting any errors? Check your error log in your MT and it might show you something. That is if you use MT. One thing I ran into when playing around with picture editing is if I used Macromedia or Photoshop it would change the format of the picture to one that MT didn’t recognize, like a png or photoshop extension. Worth a shot even though I’m sure you’ve thought of those already. Hey, I’m at work in Customer Service mode - it comes naturally. :)

darling man. you have the code in the wrong places. code for the full photo goes in the body field and the thumb-nail code goes into the excerpt field. take a look at some of the old entries for an example or send me a note/IM and we can walk through it.

Lurvely. My favs are Bent and Metalwork. And if it makes you feel better, I’ve been trying for WEEKS to figure how to make a photo gallery and have largely given up on things like strict compliance, search functions, tidy archives or anything else that might suggest I have a clue.
