thank you - from a dog and his people
For all of you who have sent good thoughts toward our very good dog Cosmo, over the past week or the past year or ever:
Thanks.
He’s finally off-leash and uncollared, and he’s chasing squirrels like he always wanted to. His legs don’t hurt him anymore. I just wish we still had him around.
that's just the way it seemed to me at 02:03 PM
Blessings sweetie...blessings and hugs and love.

dan, I’m so sorry for your loss. There’s really nothing more I can say.

Dan, I wish I knew what to say. It was Cosmo’s story that brought me to your blog in the first place, it was him that led me to leave you a comment (when I’ve always been mostly a voyeur), and your obvious love for him that encouraged me to ask after him every once and a while. Forgive me my selfishness, but I feel I’ve lost something too, but I can only guess how much more you have lost...what a crappy birthday week present...I am so very sorry…

I am very sad to hear he is gone. What a great dog. You told great stories of a fun, full life. I know he added a lot to your life and you certainly added to his. Peace be with you and Kel.

Dan, Frank and I never had the great fortune of meeting Cosmo in person ~~ a strong regret. Please know that our thoughts are with you and Kel, we love you.

Dan—He will come back. It’s physics. That law about conservation of energy—you’ll run into him on the street one day soon reincarnated.
Much love to you and Kel.

I had a major epiphany in my loyalty quotient yesterday. We drove past the Seabreeze Pet Cemetery and the lawn is blooming with beautiful flowers (pic). I looked at Ryan and said “look at all the love in that place. Every marker must have it’s own bouquet. I don’t think there is anyone but you that loves me that much, even in life” I guess I need to practice my undying loyalty and also the trick of catching a frisbee in my teeth.
I’m so sorry for your loss, and I wish that I could be of more help, but I am clearly no dog to compete.

Aww, sorry I missed this. I hadn’t checked as I knew you were on hiatus.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Cosmo has left behind a legacy of stories though that will always be remembered.
I will send good thoughts and prayers for you and Kel.
