The new DVD player is

The new DVD player is making a positive impact in my life in ways I hadn’t anticipated.  For one, I’m a very pale person, which sometimes results in my standing out not just visually but in terms of my utter lack of style.  I’ve known for years that I needed an infusion of funk - or something - to be even moderately street-ready.  Well I don’t know if that’s what I got with the new toy, but the box says it comes equipped with “Enhanced Blackness Levels.” I may not be cool now, or anything moderately like cool, but I do feel blacker.  And that’s got to be good for something - if only a sense of style.  Black is the new brown, after all.
